Birthing class experience

Last Saturday, my husband and I dragged ourselves out of bed early in the morning to head to Spokane for a birthing class that was scheduled to start at 8 am and end at 5pm.  My thoughts about this class beforehand was that it was going to be terribly boring and not helpful. I figured I would think the worse so that I wouldn't be disappointed and possibly be happily surprised. Isaac, on the other hand, had no opinion.
We arrived to our class with 15 other couples (many pregnant ladies, lots of estrogen!). We were greeted by our teacher who had a beautiful British accent, already this class was going to be better then I anticipated, you can't go wrong with a British accent!  To both Isaac and my delight not only did she have an accent, she also had dry British humor (big bonus!).
The class was SO helpful. Before, I was oblivious to the whole birthing process partially because I thought if I didn't think about it, I had nothing to be afraid of (avoiding conflict to the max!). After the class I felt much more informed and actually have some background knowledge about what my body is doing and will be doing. It was funny to me to watch my husband get involved, he asked a lot of questions! I love him SO much!  He is going to be a great help and a wonderful daddy! A ll in all, the class went well, the teacher was amazing, and we got out of class by 3!
Oh, one more thing. God is such an amazing designer! Everything about having a baby was so carefully thought out... there has to be a God, things like that can't happen by chance. Our God is such a loving, wonderful creator!!

A little upate

So this year I spent my first Thanksgiving with Isaac's family. Due to the crazy weather, it felt like we were driving down to celebrate Christmas! The snow sure was beautiful though. We had a wonderful time seeing all the cousins, aunts and uncles. So much good food, I felt fat (I looked fat too!). It was nice to have a vacation and be able to spend more then a day or two with the family.
Sunday we came home to a foot of snow. It is so pretty! I'm thankful for the snow because it has kept Isaac and Andy's shop very busy with people bringing in their snow blowers. Today we are suppose to get another 4 to 8 inches! All this snow makes up for the snow I never got growing up on the west side of the state.
One last update, I am officially on my 3rd trimester, yay!!!! That means I'm 28 weeks along and have 12 weeks left, give or take. The reality that Abigail will soon be here is starting to sink in. Isaac and I are so excited!

Okay here goes...

I am terrible at e-mailing, keeping up on facebook etc. and now here I am trying to start a blog! My cousin, Laura Boboth, has been my inspiration to start this up. She has a wonderful inspiring blog which I happen to love to read! My blog will be in no comparison as exciting and well written as hers :)  I hope to use this to be able to keep all my family updated, especially since Abigail will be making her grand appearance in a few months! Oh, and don't you like my cheesy blog title? :)
